Up close and personal with the world of work: Career Afternoon inspires students

On Friday, March 14, the time had finally come again: the iDSB Career Afternoon took place in our auditorium. Around 30 dedicated speakers from various professional fields presented their diverse careers to the students.

Numerous exciting sectors were represented, including medicine, law, science, defense, administration and the civil service. A special highlight of the afternoon was the speed dating format: in intensive 20-minute conversations, the students were able to make direct contact with the speakers and gain valuable insights into their everyday working lives.

The conversations were not only informative, but also extremely inspiring. Many participants took the opportunity to make valuable contacts and get tips for their future career planning. In some cases, contact details were even exchanged – a possible first step towards internships or further career orientation opportunities.

The Career Afternoon at the iDSB was an enriching experience for everyone involved.
