Musical exchange: The Regensburger Domspatzen as guests at the iDSB in Brussels

The Regensburger Domspatzen grammar school is one of our partner schools in Germany, and almost 40 singers from Year 11 came to Brussels this week to visit our school. On Tuesday morning, they enchanted us with a musical sample of their programme and then took a look at the lessons in the upper school of the iDSB. In order to get to know the European capital from a new perspective, the 11th grade iDSB music course took our guests to the places and buildings of cultural and musical life in Brussels. The smaller members of the iDSB were also brought on board for the musical conclusion of their stay in Belgium. Both the music courses of the upper school and the children of the primary school took part in a small musical-rhythmic workshop together with the choir singers from Regensburg and were finally able to present the results on the stage of the amphitheatre.
We were delighted to spend time with the Regensburger Domspatzen here in Brussels and look forward to our visit to the Regensburger Domspatzen next December with the 11th grade music course.
