Successful Career Afternoon inspires pupils

On Thursday, 27 June 2024, the time had finally come again: after a long coronavirus break, the long-awaited Career Afternoon took place at the iDSB. 30 speakers enthusiastically took part and presented their diverse professions to the students.

Numerous exciting sectors were represented, including medicine, law, science, defence, administration and the public sector. The highlight of the afternoon was the speed dating format. In 20-minute conversations, the students had the opportunity to talk directly to the speakers and gain valuable first-hand information. This provided an excellent opportunity for career guidance and allowed participants to gain deeper insights into the various professional fields.

The discussions were not only informative, but also inspiring. Many students took the opportunity to make contacts and gain valuable tips for their future career planning. Some of the conversations even led to the exchange of contact details, which could pave the way for future internships and career guidance.
