Helau and Alaaf! Carnival at the iDSB

On Monday, it was time to get into fancy dress and out onto the dance floor in the Colourful Time and in the school club. The annual carnival party took place for all the children in the late care centre. Stop dancing, a fancy dress competition and blowing streamers around provided plenty of fun and there was something for every fool at the delicious buffet.

After a delicious carnival breakfast on the last day of school before the holidays, all the pupils made their way from the primary school to the secondary school in an endlessly long polonaise. A fun party with the 5th and 6th classes awaited them there before they headed back to the primary school playground. Who could have caught the most sweets in the candy toss?

The KiBi also celebrated in colourful costumes. There was a long polonaise through all the groups and then carnival songs were sung and danced to in the Amphi. In the gym, all the children were able to show how sporty they are in a fun carnival parkour!
