6th grade reading competition
On Tuesday, 29 November, an exciting annual event took place in our assembly hall – the reading competition for Year 6. Six pupils from Years 6a and 6b took part. In the first round, they read exciting passages from their own chosen young adult novels, in the second round they read excerpts from a text written by someone else.
After all the candidates had given their best, it was time to announce the winner of the competition. It was not easy for the jury to make a decision, as all participants had impressively demonstrated their reading talent in their own way. But in the end, only one could win and that was Jakob Blume from class 6a!
Jakob will represent our school in the reading competition in Brussels on 6 February. We wish Jakob every success!
