A visit to the Brussels Institute of Natural Sciences

Year 10 and 11 biology students took part in a workshop at the Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels in May 2024. They wrote about their experience in an article in the online newspaper “Belgieninfo”.

The connection to the Institute of Natural Sciences came about through our biology teacher Dr Articus, who herself worked at the museum for several years – including in science communication. As science communication is an important part of scientific work, Dr Articus gave the pupils the opportunity to try their hand at it. The students received high praise for their performance from the editors of Belgieninfo!
