Fifth-graders set an example of charity in ethics and religion lessons

As part of their ethics and religion lessons, the fifth-grade pupils set off on a special mission to Stokkel. Their goal: to purchase gifts for disadvantaged children. Not only their social skills, but also their mathematical skills were challenged as they tried to use their budget in a meaningful way.

After a successful purchase, the children also wrote greeting cards in French to enclose with the gifts. The gifts collected will be distributed by Serve the City on St. Nicholas Day to bring joy to other children.

The campaign was not only an opportunity for the pupils to demonstrate their skills, but also a valuable experience that promotes the idea of charity and solidarity. Such activities not only contribute to the personal development of the pupils, but also set an inspiring example of social commitment in the school community.
