55 lunch bags for Serve the City
As part of the 9th grade Catholic religion lessons, 55 lunch bags were prepared for Serve the City and distributed to homeless people in Brussels. Ms Natalie Mejia, Social Engagement Team, and some other pupils from the Protestant religion and ethics classes actively supported us.
One student, Emily Troll, describes her impressions: “Personally, I found our project with Serve The City to be a very good experience, as I would not normally approach homeless people very often. It was interesting to talk to people and find out why and how long they have been living on the streets.”
