Rescue makes school
The only thing you can do wrong: do nothing.
On Saturday and Sunday, 20 students from our secondary school completed a first aid course. In a variety of practical case studies, they were able to demonstrate their skills and their new knowledge in first aid.
Self-protection comes first, securing and shielding the accident site, stretching the head, treating wounds, communicating with the random gawkers, calming people down, resuscitation – many things were on the programme. And why the song Stayin’ Alive will echo in the students’ ears for a long time to come, you can ask them yourself.
After successfully completing the course, all participants received their Brevet Européen de Premiers Secours certificate from the Belgian Red Cross.
