The first contact
Personal contact with our parents and individual advice is very important to us at the iDSB. We therefore offer you various opportunities to get to know our school better and are available to answer any questions you may have about a possible change of school.

Individual counselling sessions support you in preparing for a possible change of school.
Registration is very easy via our Online registration portal.
After receiving your registration, you will usually receive initial feedback from us within 3 working days.

School tours and trial days
School tours and taster days give you and your child the opportunity to get to know the future class, to establish initial contact with our teaching staff and to experience the atmosphere of our school at first hand.
This makes it easier to get started and builds anticipation!
Are you interested in a school tour? Then please contact us by e-mail or telephone. We will also find a suitable date at short notice!
Would you like to arrange a taster day for your schoolchild? Please fill out our guest student application form and send it to aufnahme@idsb.eu. Your child can spend up to three days with us. Unfortunately, we cannot receive any school guests in the last two school weeks before the summer holidays because of the many class excursions and special projects that are held outside the school grounds.

Individual consultations
Individual consultations with our pedagogical director support you in preparing for a possible change of school and related questions about admission requirements, language support (German and foreign languages) and curricula.
They are particularly recommended in the case of a planned enrolment for the Oberschule (from grade 5).
We offer our counselling by telephone, by email or in a personal meeting. We will then contact you as soon as possible.

How can I register my child?
Have you decided to register? You can then use our online registration portal. Simply follow the steps on the page. We recommend that you have the following documents ready for registration:
- Copy of your child’s birth certificate
- Copy of the parents’ passports
- Most recent school report (from 1st grade)
For future first years we also need:
- Confirmation of school readiness

What happens next?
After receiving your application, you will usually receive an initial response from us within 3 working days. If you are subsequently accepted, we will send you the actual contract, which then only needs to be signed by you and the school management.
