Final of the German-language reading competition in Brussels – IDSB 6b took part!
On 17 February, the time had finally come: the eagerly awaited final of the German-language reading competition in Brussels took place at the North Rhine-Westphalia State Representation. The best readers from Brussels and East Belgium met there – and our school winner Jasper Grauvogel from iDSB 6b was right in the middle of it all!
Supported by his class and his class teacher, Mr Leitheiser, and with lots of applause, cheers and fan posters, Jasper took to the starting line with great commitment. The competition offered an impressive variety of outstanding reading performances and exciting stories.
With his expressive presentation of both his own and other people’s texts, Jasper was one of the many outstanding fourth-place winners of the competition. Chapeau, Jasper!
The event came to a successful conclusion with a reading by Austrian children’s and young adult author Alexandra Holmes. The 6b returned to Wezembeek in the afternoon with many new impressions.
